I recently installed ios 6 and it has taken out my network key under General in Settings. The straight talk rep told me that my 3G wouldn’t be working properly because of that. What can I do to fix this? Thanks in Advance 4 any advice or help! Mark

It worked for me. I used a Verizon sim from my iPad to get to the APN settings. My iPhone is not unlocked and not jail broken. Thanks for the help!!!

I have a iPhone 3G from AT&T, version 4.2.1 (8C148), with a Straight Talk Sim Card $45. I don’t have wireless internet but cable internet I can’t find APN information on my iPhone, I only see VPN therefore I don’t know where to enter the APN information from Straight Talk to use the data package can someone help me.
I tried it and got the message An APN payload is already installed. that may well be true but I still can’t access a cellular network from my iphone 3gs since I switched to orange unless I restore back to factory settings and loose all my apps data. Any advice please?
So, if i have a plan with AT&T that doesn’t have data. I can put that sim in my new iphone 4 and run this so AT&T cannot detect that i do not have a data plan. Can’t they detect it through the IMEI?

Yup. I just tried att iphone 4 with straightalk microsim with iOS 6.1 and only have access to text mess and talk. Can’t get MMS nor 3G to work when trying the standard ‘download of API settings’ from this site. I’ve got to try the tmoble micro sim swap I guess. I thought this would be easier. LOL

I am facing same peoblem…but atleast i use EDGE(E) but no 3G.
can any one pls tell me how can we update APN setting. i am on IOS6.0.1 version – Unlocked IPHONE 4 32GB AT&T and I am on Straight talk.
I did try Swapping method with TMOBILE Micro sim and with that i am atleast using EDGE ( but not 3G)…
I have iphone4 tried the net10 settings and I cant get data or picture messages im not sure if I am doing it right
Used your app on iPhone 4 and 4s on AT&T in the USA. It worked great with the Cingular APN.
On the iPhone 5 with IOS 6 , data only works if you turn LTE off. You get 4G (HSPA+) speeds. If you enable LTE on the phone (and it connects to LTE), you get no data.
On an ATT IOS 6 iPhone 5 you cannot see what your APN is, but I am thinking that the old Cingular APN is in place.
The rate plan is in place to support LTE. Also if you factory reset the phone, it runs fine on LTE.
When I restore the Apple profile, I am back to having to disable LTE for any data.
Any way to force the APN to reset to defaults after a profile is loaded or get the LTE APN for AT&T (not on unlockit’s website) — is the LTE APN the AT&T PTA APN?

I downloaded unlockit.co.nz and it changed my apn so that I could have data on my iphone with my straight talk service. this worked fine. yesterday my 3G and data randomly stopped working. I turned my phone on and off, took out the sim and put it back in, and even re downloaded unlockit profile. nothing has made my data work again. how do I fix this. I don’t care about mms only data for like twitter and stuff
