I noticed that a few people where not entering any details into the APN Changer and then clicking Create Profile. This would create an invalid settings file and give an error message. I have added a few checks to the website so it will give a pop up on the screen if you are not entering any information into the form (or not selecting a country).

If your Carrier/Country is not listed please get in touch with me and let me know the Country/Carrier Name and the APN Settings so I can add it to the list.

  1. Hallo,
    So i upgraded my iphone 3G to iOS 4.0 and jailbreaked it.
    Everything works fine except for the mobile internet doesnt work. Even after trying couple of times, the link of this website still doesnt work for me. I get the following error:

    “Cannot Install profile: Safari could not install a profile due to an unknown error”.

    I use carrier: NL – Telfort.
    Hope you can help.

    1. You did not choose a Carrier at all.. When you are at the Custom APN Page.. Click on the word “Choose” and then choose your Carrier. Click on it and a tick will come besides it and then Click Done. Then Click Create Profile.

    Could you please correct “FR – Bouygues Pro” ? It’s ‘a2b’ instead of ‘abc’.

    I have a problem when I click on ‘Continue’. I get a page with ‘ConfigurationProfile-2 9KB’ and I can’t do anything.

  9. I got the error message “Cannot Install profile: Safari could not install a profile due to an unknown error”. I choose US-T-Mobile and on the APN it shows “internet2.voicestream.com” Did I did anything wrong??

    with reference to earlier postings for apn settings for Starhub (Singapore)

    Carrier name: Starhub
    APN: shwapint
    username: blank
    password: blank

    i’ve checked with my Service Provider, and the APN should be;

    shwap

    instead, of shwapint

    could you please update please?

  22. i upgraded my iphone 3G 16 gb to iOS 4.0 and jailbreaked it by Redsnow. then unlocked my carrier sim by cydia and ultrasnow, after that everything is fine except of mobile internet, there is no Cellular data Network tab or APN or Edge tab, Even after trying couple of times, the link of this website still doesnt work for me. I get the following error:
    “Cannot Install profile: Safari could not install a profile due to an unknown error”. i tried both email and direct profile instalation but doesn’t work, but at the time of email installation , it shows profile installed but still no apn or cellular network tab is showing, talked to my carrier for the same but they said that internet package is active in my account,so i just need to install my settings. So please help me in this, thank you.

    APN- TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
    USERNAME- – BLANK-

  25. Hi, I used your profile for IT- FASTWEB… internet is working great but mms doesn’t work… maybe you didn’t entered all the settings in the profile ?
    These are the recommended settings:..

    APN: apn.fastweb.it
    Nome Utente: -empty-
    Password: -empty-
    MMSC: http: htpp://mms.fastweb.it/mms/wapenc
    Proxy MMS: 10.0.65.9:8080
    Maximum size MMS: 614400
    MMS UA Prof URL: -vuoto-

    Thanks Andre’, Ive just recently moved to Portugal and set up my Iphone with TMN but couldnt get email, web etc to work… your info had my Iphone up & running in 5 secs, thanks for sharing, awesome!
